Privacy PolicyPrivacy Policy

At ICS Learning Group we recognize that privacy is important. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the products, services or sites (collectively referred to as “Sites”) offered directly by ICS Learning Group and its subsidiaries. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any product, service or website that may be offered by ICS Learning Group customers through products or services that they have purchased from us.

The Information We Collect

When using our Sites, you provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected by us and information collected by us as you interact with our Sites.

Information You Provide

We receive and may store any information you enter on our Sites or give to us in any other way. For example, we collect information you provide when you place an order, register with us or send us an e-mail or call us. This information may include:

  • your name.
  • your mailing address.
  • your e-mail address.
  • your phone number.
  • your credit card number.

It may also include any other personal or preference information you provide to us.

It may also include information you submit about other people, for example, their name and email address.

User Content

You post User Content (as defined in the ICS Learning Group Terms of Use) to our Sites at your own risk. Although we have provided measures that limit access to your content, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your content and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on our Sites will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Sites. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.

Cookies

When you use our Sites, we send one or more cookies – a small file containing a string of characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser.

Log Information

When you access our Sites, our servers automatically record information that your browser generally sends whenever you visit any website. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.

User Communications

When you send email or other communications to ICS Learning Group, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

Children Under Age 13

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, do not attempt to register on any of our Sites or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on any ICS Learning Group Site. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us.

Children Between the Ages of 13 and 18

We recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

How we use your information

If you submit personally identifiable information to us on our Sites, we use your personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the general and personalized features and functionality of the services.

Any content that you upload to our Sites may be redistributed through the internet.

We do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major Site changes or for customer service purposes).

We use both your personally identifiable information and certain non-personally-identifiable information (such as anonymous user usage data, cookies, IP addresses, browser type, etc.) to improve the quality and design of our Sites and to create new features, functionality, and services by storing, tracking, analyzing, and processing user preferences and trends, as well as user activity and communications.

We use cookies, clear gifs, and log file information to: (a) maintain your session state during your visit; (b) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit our Site(s); (c) provide custom, personalized content and information; and (d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, etc.

Sharing your information

We do not provide contact information to third party marketers. We share your information with third parties only in limited circumstances where we believe such sharing is 1) reasonably necessary to offer the service, 2) legally required or, 3) permitted by you.

If the ownership of all or substantially all of the ICS Learning Group, Inc. business, or individual business units owned by ICS Learning Group, Inc., were to change, your user information may be transferred to the new owner so the service can continue operations. In any such transfer of information, your user information would remain subject to any pre-existing Privacy Policy.

Account Operators

Our Sites allow others to create virtual environments that you may access and interact with. When you create an account within one of these virtual environments, the user or organization that created the environment (“Account Operator”) will have access to some of the information that our services collect. The Account Operator may also grant permission to other Users to view your information. This Privacy Policy does not govern the Account Operator’s use of your information so you should become familiar with their privacy practices prior to giving them information or interacting within their virtual environments.

Changing or removing your information

Access and control over most personal information is readily available through profile editing tools. Users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available to other Users or Account Operators.

Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

We restrict access to personal information to ICS Learning Group employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Terms of Use

Your use of any ICS Learning Group Site, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

Revisions

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. Material changes made to this policy will be posted on this page along with the effective date of the revised policy. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current Privacy Policy.
